How to get there:
By air:
The nearest airport is Geneva Airport, which is about 45 minutes from Lausanne by train. Alternatively, you may fly into Zurich Airport and continue to Lausanne by train (approximately 2.5 hours).
By train:
Regular direct trains connect Geneva Airport and Zurich Airport to Lausanne. Train tickets can be purchased via SBB (online or at stations).
From Lausanne train station, the EPFL campus can be reached by metro M1 (direction Renens), stopping at EPFL.

Further afield, we recommend hotels in Lausanne and Renens located near train stations. The EPFL campus is easily accessible from there via the M1 metro line.
